As a large number of undergraduates do not balance with a limited number of
jobs, it is really tough for undergraduates to make a choice between taking a
job and going to a graduate school From a personal perspective, I prefer
pursuing the latter. It can be attributed to the following two driving
forces.
On one hand, I want to continue my studies for their own sake because further
study can equip me with more solid and profound knowledge for my future work. In
fact, having a passionfor my subject is possibly the best reason to go into
postgraduate education. On the other hand, the increasingly competitive job
market is gradually raising its standards for job hunters. Specializing at
postgraduate level can make you a stronger job applicant.
Actually,when it comes time for university graduates to decide what to do
next, there is no right or wrong choice but more proper. Rather, each student
must reach his or her own conclusion.
